Bad News for Nicollette Sheridan Fans

This is a bummer for Nicollette Sheridan fans: apparently, she’s leaving the cast of Desperate Housewives!

She’s been on the series for five years and will reportedly make her final appearances in episodes airing in April. According to the reports, Sheridan’s character Edie Britt, the resident neighborhood maneater, will be killed off in an unusual accident involving her vehicle after she discovers that her current husband is trying to kill her. A representative for Sheridan said,

“She had a great time on the show and is looking forward to her next project.”
